Meet Heather McMillen
Founder of Peak Collective
I've spent more than 14 years building and scaling digital experiences for premium consumer brands, with a career that blends strategy, creativity, and hands-on execution.
I got my start in eCommerce at L'Oréal's The Body Shop, managing UX, merchandising, and digital content for global sites. From there, I joined Audio Advice, where I helped shape one of the most exciting growth stories in specialty audio:
- Scaled revenue from $12M to $50M+ through omnichannel eCommerce strategy
- Co-invented the patented Home Theater Designer, used by nearly half of customers and credited with driving millions in personalized sales
- Co-founded and executed Audio Advice Live, a premier 3-day consumer electronics show
- Built the company's YouTube channel to 220,000+ subscribers, creating one of the industry's most influential digital platforms
Through that journey, I had the pleasure of working with some of the best people in the industry—from brilliant engineers and brand leaders to the incredible talent on my own team.
Today, I serve as Director of eCommerce at AudioQuest, leading global digital strategy for a brand sold in 70+ countries. From relaunching AudioQuest.com to optimizing 3,000+ SKUs across Amazon and Best Buy, I focus on pairing data-driven insights with creative storytelling.
Peak Collective brings this same experience to forward-thinking brands and retailers, focusing on:
- eCommerce strategies that drive sustainable growth
- Product content that informs and inspires
- Digital marketing campaigns that actually resonate
- Scalable processes and strategies that work
My goal is simple: help brands connect authentically with their audience and thrive in the digital age.
When I'm not working, you'll find me testing new gear, exploring creative projects, floating in the pool, and spending time with my family in North Carolina.
